Garden of Peace

Food for the Food Bank:  Over 150 pounds of food were donated in 2025 to the New Jerusalem Food Bank in the Hilltop area of Tacoma. Gardeners glean food from their plots for the food bank and we have two designated food bank plots. 

Community Support:  Special thanks to the Tacoma Garden Club for granting us funds to provide pollinator plants as well as butterflies and lady bugs to pollinate the garden, tools to replenish our community garden tools, and support to replace at least one raised bed that was rotting.  

All are Welcome! While the community garden sits on church land, it is open to anyone and everyone to garden with us. Many neighboring home owners, apartment dwellers, people from all walks of life and gardening knowledge (or lack thereof) are gardening together in this special community. Come join us!
